How accurate is the walleye calculator on this site? It seems to me that by inputing both length and girth one would get a more accurate reading than the traditional method of cubing the length and dividing by 2700. I'm just wondering because I caught a 29.5" walleye through the ice last winter with a girth of 17.5", but never did weigh it. Can I claim a legitimate 10 pounder?

thanks for the input.

Congratulations. Thatis definitely a 10 and probably over 11. I caught a fish last year that was 28.5 with a 16.5 girth and it was over 10. No question in my mind that your fish is legit. You should think about having a replica made. E-mail me if you have any questions. I had mine done last year and was very impressed. Congrats again.
