View Full Version : Best Portable Ice fishing house on the Market?
The boat is winterized and now I am looking for a portable ice fishing house. I generally have 2 other with me and would like to know which ice house on the market you folks think is the easiest to set up and offers the most space. I sold my home-made one because it was just to heavy and couldn't be dragged behind a 4-wheeler or a sled. Any input would be great
Thanks

just did a lot of homework on this topic...most posts think the otterskin...as opposed to the ottersled...is the best...well made..has a hitch for pulling....large sled...seats which bridge the sled...sets up easily...durable...similar to the clam but heavier duty...they make several sizes...skeeter has the two man and says its only big enough for one comfortably...i got the magnum two just a couple wks ago...big enough for two but i'm tring to figure out how to fit it into my truck camper rig easily...i can do it with some difficulty...will probably have an atv and trailer in a yr or two and will just be able to put sled on the trailer then...may buy the trailer sooner!!...sets up easily in my front yard...very roomy for two...they make a larger one...cost is high...around 700.00 dollars with the cover...hitch...two seats...sled..etc but i bit the bullet...can't wait to use it...steve
