Just purchased one and it seems to loose track of the depth after running fine for 10 min. Shows depth's of 700 ft 1000 ft. Could this be caused from also trying to run an Eagle unit in front in conjuction with the Lowrance and can this be fixed or running an Eagle and Lowrance together is my problem?

Try not running the eagle at the same time and see if that is the problem. If it is fine running solo, then your finders are interfering with each other.

search the archives for information regarding frequencies when running two finders at the same time

lowarance and eagle which are made by the same company, both run at 192khz and cannot be ran together. The rule of thumb is that you need 40khz of seperation of frequency to stay out of each other. Some people have posted that they can get them to run with 1 on bow and 1 on transom, but at some point of depth they are going to get into each other and not be able to tell who sent the ping that it is recieving and cause them to be "confused".

I had the same problem with a 350 lms and an x 85 . You will have to turn one of the unit off. Or you can tip your transducers away from each other!

Hey Jerry, I run an x-85 at my console and a eagle on the bow.My boat is 18.5 ft.long.I have not had any difficulty running both at the same time. You might check the transducer to see if it is at the proper depth and not loose.Good luck.

I have a X85 on the console, LCG2400 on the stern and a X-75 on the bow, if I run the X-85 and the 2400 on the stern at the same time, I have problems, however if I run the X75 on the bow, I can run at least 1 of the two (console or stern)without any problems.
