What are the favorite Walleye tactics of you guys? What presentation would you call your good old stanby when its slow? I am just trying to get myself geeked up for first ice. :D FLAG!:D

Grew up in the same neighborhood, eh!? :7

Gernades and electroshock work well, too!! Ya' know.......there is going to be a very large supply of RPGs coming on the market in the very near future. Only thing is I can't read the writing on them! ;)

Underwater camaras!

I used my partners last year and learned a lot about how live bait acts and what lures do under the water. It is a great learning tool and it also is entertaining. We sat and watched the tube all day. Saw a walleye swimming buy with a bobber and laughed until we noticed a rod almost going down the hole.

RANGER, we GOTTA get together and tip a brew some time. We should also have Backwater Eddie along for really good humor! ;-)

For jigging, I would go with the best spoon on the market in my opinion. The Scenic Tackle Angel Eye jigging spoon. Not to pricy and very effective. Jeff also makes a junior sized one now too. I herd they have been hitting the crappies hard with them on Upper Red Lake. If you dont know anywhere to get them. Let me know.

Never heard of those, where can I find them?

I am working out a system for cutting a hole that is 8" wide and about 800 yards long. I think ice trolling could be deadly. I wonder if I will need boards??

Sounds like a winner. Hopefully someday!

Teah! You could strap the boards across your butt so you don't fall in! ;)

Any lure works on Red lake crappies.... Why are these so special?

Swedish Pimples work well, Blakemore road runners (Marabou, Turbo Tails), Lindy Fuzzy Grubs, to name some.

I start with 2/5 oz. little cleos tipped with fatheads and if that doesn't work, I "downsize" to a 2"-3" swedish pimple. The only time I use tip-ups is for derbys.

The scenic tackle spoons have a very odd action to them. I dont think there is any other spoon that has a action like them.
