Wisconsin has lot's of great walleye locations throughout the state, northern Wisconsin waters like Lake Tomahawk, Rainbow Flowage mentioning just two are very good walleye areas. Spring time and the Fox River near Green Bay as well as the Menominee River system are spring picks. Jig fishing and casting crankbaits are our two preferred methods of catching these fish. The other surprising thing is trying to learn the many methods of catching walleye's throughout the states great fishery. From jig fishing the rock and sand bars to the weedbeds of cabbage and coontail and what about the slip-float fishing that can be done, these have been our philosophies for years making fishing such a resourceful sport. If you need more info. you can email us.

Wisconsin' walleye fisheries have rebounded in the last decade. Top picks for trophy walleyes include:Green Bay(including Fox River),Petenwell flowage(Wisconsin River), Mississippi River, St. Louis river(near Superior WI), & Chaquamegon bay(on Lake Superior).

TOP picks for "numbers": Wolf river system (including Lakes Poygan,Winneconne,Butte de morts & Winnebago), central Wisconsin river basin(Lake DuBay, Castle rock, & Big Eau Pleine reservoirs). Trolling allowed on all except the Wolf river itself.

Good luck!

i would have to say the best walleye fishing would be on the chippewa flowage in hayward, wi. to me theis lake/s are simply the best. the resorts are not overpriced and the scenery is top notch.it's a 5 hour drive from milwaukee, but well worth it.

keep yor lines wet and good luck
