Chamberlain/Gavins Pt.??

What are the usual ice-out dates for either of these locations? Given a choice, would you fish Chamberlain or Yankton in early spring? If you fish Chamberlain, do you fish the Chamberlain basin, or do you head up river to the Big Bend dam? If you fish the Chamberlain basin, do you fish rip rap, or the channel breaks? Any info appreciated, just day dreaming about what I hope is a soon to arrive first trip of the year. Thanks

Gavins Pt., Ft Randel, and Ft Thompson , and Oahe can all be fished now below the dams. Call ahead for info, then go get em.
