The St Louis river would be a good choice. It's located between Superior,WI and Duluth,MN with Lake Superior just outside the harbor. We have more walleyes and smallmouths than panfish, though. There's also the big lake charters for a day of trout and salmon fishing for a change of pace and Chequamagon Bay is only a little over an hour away and the south shore of the lake has several good trout streams, too. If your looking for a fishing vacation, we have a lot of choices.

Consider Fort Peck Lake in Eastern Montana. 150 Miles of shoreline with lots of walleye (state and world record Saugeye and Sauger, state walleye (16# 10oz) and state smallmouth (6.2#). Lots of perch, northern, crappie when you find them - check out our site:www.kiblercharterfishing.com to see some of the fish we catch there. It isn't crowded which is always a plus.

Excuse me, I missed a 0 there. We have 1500 miles of shoreline on Peck, it's 150 miles long. Would love to have you and your wife come this way!
