icefishing prespawn staging eyes

I fish a couple of lakes that the walleyes spawn in rivers or streams flowing into the lake, with one week left in the icefishing and a real warm up forcasted , I was wondering if this extra water running would start the walleyes to start to stage outside spawning inlets yet or is it still to early.
