Don't put any oil in the deep frier yet lumpy. The Wolf had an early flurry of activity three weeks ago but it has turned rather slow. I think someone is pulling on your anchor rope. Better fishing will come.

Lumpy -
Did you get a whitebass report ? That may be the case out there right now. Lilacs are blooming !! As far as the eyes.....Alot of good fisherman in tourneys last sat. ended their tourney with zippo. From what I here you don't need to ancor up.....you can just tie off to the guy 3 feet away !!!!

Hey Lumpy,
Now tell us where you are actually finding those eyes. Sounds like you are trying to throw us off the scent and keep us off your trail ;) ;)

No No No....
was out last night from 6:30 - 8:00p.m. Put 4 walleyes(2-21", 1-17", and one 13") in the boat along with 2 small mouth that were over 16". Sandbars with deep ledges seem to be the location. Saw another 3 decent sized walleyes caught. All caught on shad raps #5. Would tell you the color but that would take all the fun out of it. E-mail me and I will tell you the colors. By the way, I fish the Shiocton Area.

Saturday morning on my way home from work there was only one pickup with a trailer parked at the landing in New London. Doesn't look very hot to me. The Eyes and White Bass cooled off a couple of weeks ago. Some fish do hang in the river. If you have a spot where they are concentrated you can send me a email and invite me to go along. I promise not to be anchored in your secret spot in the future (ha ha).

There appear to be fish holding in Shiocton. My brother and I put 10 walleyes in the boat on Monday night with three of them over 21". That makes 17 in two days. Pretty good numbers I would say. haven't been out since monday, but the key to the fishing was shad raps fished of sand bars with deep ledges. If you are familiar with the Shiocton area, we were fishing near the mouth of the Shioc.
