Hi... I am planning a trip to the Illinois river next week, fishing for Walleyes between Starved Rock and the Peoria Dam. Does anyone have any information about the current fishing activity?

There is a MWC tourney this weekene 25-26 the river will be packed I would suggest you launch out of starve rock as the Spring Valley ramp is the weigh in site. You may want to check out the weigh in Sat & sun as you will see some 5lb sauger being weighed.

That's good advise, the river will be crowded.
