Has anyone fished Clinton Lake for 'eyes? I've been there a couple of times so far this year and the only thing I've seen caught were stripers. I saw one lone walleye off of a bridge piling by the mascoutin state park section, but otherwise I have no idea where to try first. I'm pretty new to fishing reservoir walleyes, I know lake fishing but do these fish act differently in the spring? Where should I try it? I'm going out early tomorrow morning, so if I remember I'll post here w/ a report. Thanks in advance...

Put in at the north fork ,that's where the salt creek comes into the lake !Use a spinner tipped with a live minnow live works best or use the same spinner tipped with a rubber shad fish the rip rap about 50-60 feet out fish about 45degree angle from your boat to shore.don't forget the coves stay out from the bank there are drop off's from6ft.dropping to 23ft. back in those coves all fishing is slow now you can try the same if you go to the discharge of the plant!NOTE:the docks around the plant are covered with moss and sometimes unstoppable when putting in your boatyou just might end up in the lake boat and all
Good fishing hope to see you at the lake sometime
