Came from SD-now live in Wyoming-have hit a few of the local lakes, Boysen, Glendo, Pathfinder and Alcova, with a little sucess! Nothing like back at the RIVER though! Hoping to hit Keyhole in the near future.(as soon as the weather cooperates!) Any "hot spots" you could tell me about. Thanks for the help.

Don't know if you have seen the page yet, but check out keyholewalleye.com It's our club page and is updated weekly once the ice goes off, with water temps and fishing conditions. You will be amazed at how good Keyhole and the other wyoming lakes are when you get the hang of them. Use the same rigs you use at SD but for cranks use shad raps and wally divers(silver and black)

hey J. I lived in cheyenne for a couple years and talked a lot to locals about the walleye fishing, and did some nosing around. Here's what I found out. The state record came out of Boysen, I believe in winter 92 or 93. 15+ pounds. The reservoirs you mentioned seem to be the best along with seminoe. I also heard rumors that the Flaming gorge res. in the sw corner is a well kept secret. It is gorgeous there also. Also I'm not sure where you live there, but in western Nebraska there is a reservoir called Lake McConaughy. years ago I used to read Walleye insider religiously and infisherman and they raved about it. Also tournament pro legend Mike McClelland who is from the area says it is a great walleye fishery. As far as the walleyes go in wyoming I hear it is sporatic. Hotter than you know what at times but tough most of the time. But those reservoirs also have a lot of nice trout so keep you chin up. regards!
