We will be on Table Rock around Branson First week in April. Most everyone I have spoke with tell me that no one fishes for Walleye. Looks like a Walleye lake to me. Any info most helpful.

No walleye fishing in Tablerock. Stockton Lake is less than 2 hours away. It has great walleye fishing. Also the river below Truman Dam is good.

Table Rock is very low - 15' below normal pool - was there on March 8th - Marinas are way way down there when normally just off the parking lot -

Truman also has some nice walleyes in the main lake

When we are in the area we count on Vernon Mckellips he is a native area guide and a great guy 417-334-5881 , boat mobile 417-335-0407, the place to go for walleyes is below the Tannycomo dam on Bull Shoals about 25 miles from Table Rock , give Vern a call, if he can't help you out he will know someone who will.

I've fished Kimberling City area twice, both times lots of (big) bass-no walleyes. I did see a lot of echoes on the thermocline and off structure. The echoes were exactly like shield lakes up north.
Also, in-fisherman listed Table Rock as top ten American lakes to catch a trophy eye! I don't believe there are no eyes in Tbl Rock; I would believe the Reb's just don't know how to fish them.

I don't know about the total population, but I caught about a 16' walleye there while bass fishing.
