Is anyone fishing the Minn / Wisc border on Saturday? Am thinking of starting down by Prescott - does anyone think up towards Hudson/Stillwater would be better? thanks and good luck. - erik

One thing to keep in mind.........make sure to try shallower than most people are fishing. Also, if it was me I would head up towards Stillwater where it's shallower and warmer water at this time of year.

Pick up a subscription for Minnesota Sportsman magazine, you'll get some decent information on the St Croix in that publication. They've had quite a few articles on St Croix Walleyes in the last three or four years if you can search their archive. Also, check out Steve Carney's articles in Outdoor News, he fishes the St Croix quite a bit and explains his technigues and locations in a fair a amount of detail. Fish and Game Finder magazine might be the best source for specific spots and presentations.....you have to do your research because as you can see the river rats are pretty tightlipped!!
