Hello blue, the early season on Lake Vermilion is
exellent, water temps as of yesterday, are in the
mid to upper 50's with some shallow areas as high as the low 60's. The unseasonable weather
this week has really warmed it up. I still think that the fish will be in their early season areas, shallow bays, rocky shoreline, gravel and
sand flats that are near deeper water. Try the
Wakemup narrows, and Black bay and the small
islands and points just out side the narrows to
Black bay.Well I hope this helps you out.
