Hi, I'm 9 years old, and I'm going to Lake Osakis
for the first time with my dad this weekend. Does anybody know how its doing?

OSAKIS:Fishermen's Corner, Norm Clyde, Hwy. 27 and Central, Osakis, (320-859-2181) Weekend walleye tournament went over well, with 100 boats weighing in 795 walleyes for a total weight of 1,650 pounds, with a winning weight of 35.3 pounds for 12 fish by father son team of Jeff and Ryan Larson from Osakis. Walleye bite good on the main lake bars in 17-24 during the day, evenings they'll come up to as shallow as 7 feet with good action coming on slip bobbers and leeches at night. North end humps slightly deeper. Calm sunny days the sunfish can be found in 2-3 feet of water on their beds. The water is crystal clear this year so use stealth tactics and pitch small jigs and waxies. Bass and northerns can be caught at will anywhere there are weeds. Some nice-sized pike reported caught. "Best walleye bite in five years on Lake Osakis", Norm says.
