I started using the Vista Cam in early December. First time was on Leech Lake. In about 30 feet of water, we could see at least twenty feet. Of course, distance decreased as the sun went down. We were in a shelter which made a big difference.

In South Dakota last week, we could not see as far, but the water was more stained.

The common factor was that what we saw was amazing. You could see the fish take your bait, and see even more refuse it. You will learn a lot about lure presentation. Everyone enjoys watching the picture.

The Deluxe Pro has a Sony infra-red camera, quality is very good. The monitor, black and white, is 9 inches. Lots of anglers can watch at the same time. Very easy to use, comes with a recharger, battery, soft-side case, pretty much all you need to use. I am sure there will be accessories at some time.

When we were at Leech Lake we had other anglers in the house. One of the guys had seen lots of other underwater cameras, he liked my Vista Cam so much he bought it from me.

I am sold on the unit. I have a few to sell if anyone is interested. Let me know.

Bob, my partner and I use one for ice fishing. It comes with everything you need except a 12 volt battery. We have used it about two dozen times without any problems. There were about six others in our fishing club that purchased them and I havn't heard of anyone else with problems either. It is the best entertainment and educational tool we have ever used. I have learned a lot about fish behavior by watching fish while ice fishing. We havn't used it out in the boat because of the wave action. One thing we really like is the 9" screen. It is big enough for everyone inthe ice house to see unlike the smaller screens that others come with. I havn't really noticed that fish get spooked by the camara. We are able to spin it without any problems of spooking.
