Hey Bob love the show. Its nice to see different locations throughout the midwest. I'm from southern Minnesota and was wondering if you've ever done a show or fished yourself in the southern Minnesota lakes region around Mankato. The reason i asked is that this area is so underrated and a few of the lakes are real sleepers. Once a person uncovers a few secrets the lakes are dynamite. 1 lake in particular i've caught and released many 6 fish limits over 30 lbs in a night and had nights where over a dozen fish over 24" were caught. Quite the expierience. Just wonder if you have had the pleasure of fishing any of these lakes? Thanks.

Forgot to mention im looking very forward to catching the show on Lake Pepin as i also fish Pepin quite a bit also. Im curious to see if your presentation for catching fish is similiar to the way we fish.

Thanks for watching Fishing the Midwest. I truly appreciate your support.
I have fished in the Mankato area a few times. Fishing can be very good on some of those lakes for a variety of fish. The largemouth bass action can be really good.
I have spent more time in the Faribault area. French, Roberds, Mazaska, and Cedar have all been good for me. So many people drive by some very good lakes when they head north. Most of us have some very good fishing opportunities close to home if we would just realize that. Oh well, everyone going somewhere else just leaves more fish for you and me to catch close by.
Thanks for writing.
Keep in touch.
