Kentucky Crappies

Does anyone have advice on a good base camp for a family crappie fishing trip to Kentucky Lake during the last week of March? My kids are 8 and 11 years old and are having spring break. We have never been there before.

We fish the Blood River area,this is a great place to fish..you don't even have to go on the main lake,,its all their in the blood river. We stayed at a resort called Kentucky Beach...New oweners,,there putting a lot of money back into the resort..Extra nice people..good location, good dockage..good food, bait store, and an old guy that has fished blood river for 15 years..he can put you on fish..GOOD LUCK---HOOKMAN
