I was washing my boat the other day and noticed a bubble in my gel coat. It is on the back just above the trim that connects the cap and the hull. It is a 2000 model boat that was bought new off the floor in May of 2001. Should I be concerned about this? Is this common among glass boats or what should I do.

Lance,

When Gel Coat blisters it is usually an indication of the laminates separating whether it is from water infusion or something else - at any rate it needs to be fixed. They usually spread.
