For fall fishing in Minnesota I have found minnows to be the most productive over other bait combinations. My question is what do people feel is the most effective presentation using minnows for walleye?

JIG, AND IF THAT DON'T WORK TRY A DIFFERENT JIG.

I would have to second the first reply. Although, in certain situations a slip bobber rig will out produce any other. Not only is it my favorite way to fish in the Spring and Fall, it also has proven deadly on many outings. Good luck! and may the fish be with you! EE

A jig and minnow is certainly a very good fall walleye presentation. If, however, the fish won't take the jig combo I certainly would not hesitate to try a slip-sinker livebait rig like a Roach Rig.
