Went below the dam on Saturday and the fishing was slow. Caught a few small walleyes in the break water near the boat basin. Caught a nice 23" fish in the fast water right before I left @ 5p.m. on a down deep huskyjerk trolling slowly against the current. Did anyone do better? I didn't see many keepers.

Fished Peace Creek Thursday caught 2 keepers, on Friday went below dam caught 5 keepers with 4 of us fishing out of the boat all day, Sat. went back to Peaces Creek 0 keepers, fished the flat west of Peaces Creek, caught about a 10 to 12lb northern pull crank baits several small walleye (under 15 inches) 1 nice small mouth. Marked fish in 30 to 50 ft of water and later in the day they would move up on the flat. 7 keeper walleyes for 4 people fishing 3 days not very good fishing.

Is Peace creek close to Pease creek ??? Sorry I couldn't hold back on that one. I would half to bet the surenity is reeeaaalllll nice there.

I was up at pickstown last weekend and did do fairly well on crappie we were below right in front of the stairs fishing about 14-16 ft of water. we were only up for about 2 days and we caught 49 crappie out of three people. we were using lindy rig and split shot and a minnow.
we got into some small mouth right behind the first island down river. got into some nice northern about 12-17 pounds 17 was the biggest that was with a small deep diving husky jurk. that was in the boat basin well best fishes. if you have any questions e-mail me at lil_thiele@hotmail.com
