going up north for the last time this fall going to hit leech then maybe up to upper red if the crappies are biting. leech for sure but hows the crappie fishing up there?

Don't know about crappies on Leech now, but have heard the walleyes are going good. Crappies have been good on Leech in the spring. Fish the windblown areas for walleyes on Leech.
According to anglers that I know who have recently fished crappies on Red Lake, they are expecting them to start big-time soon, but as of yet haven't started. Contact Don Hudec at Hudec's Resort in Waskish for the best info. Don't know the phone #, but do a search for Hudec's Resort and you will find what you need to contact him.
