Anyone know anything about Reetz Lake in South Dakota other than it opened Oct. 1 mainly as a lake for trophy fish. Only 1 walleye over 28 inches may be taken. Have any fish been taken over 28"? How good is the perch fishing?

Check out the SD gfp page, they have info posted about it. As far as I know, there are no walleyes in it that are over the 28" min, and most of the perch are about 10 inches. They have population counts for perch and walleyes on the website also. I do not know anyone that has fished it yet.

My Girlfriend's Dad Talked with a guy that had fished Reetz Lake in early October. The guy caught alot of perch the first day and only keept one the was 12 inches. The next day the went back and found the walleyes. The biggest was 26 inches and most were 20 inches long. Should be good ice fishing lake this winter. Won't be many non-residents on the lake with a 5 perch limit.
