I am currently considering the purchase of an aluminum bass boat for next season. My concern is the re-saleability of an aluminum bass boat in the Midwest as I live in west central Minnesota. I would be interested in any thoughts anyone has on this subject?

I am always puzzled why there is this feeling that one must have a bass boat to fish bass. Anyway be safe and go with a standard 17' boat
that way you will be sure to sell it.

Gary - Thanks for the response. After visiting with boat dealers and others, I have decided, as you also said, to stick with a 17-18 foot walleye boat or what maybe would more appropriately be called a "multi-species boat". I think that would suit my overall fishing needs better and, as you also said, have better re-sale. I hope all is well with you.
