Did anyone try ice fishing in South Dakota this weekend? I saw a report on tonydean.com that said the ice was very thin around Lake Ponisett/Albert area.
i fish on upper Lake Oahe in SD. I was out last weekend and there was about 6 inches of ice. There were people driving all over it with 4-wheelers. If you find the right spot fishing could be awesome. We were fortunate enough to find the spot and we couldn't catch anything under 16 inches and the fish are all fat.
