A partner and I spent the late afternoon/evening on a small lake here in western Minnesota fishing walleyes. Ice conditions varied from 2 1/2 to 4 inches, most of the ice was 3 1/2 - 4 inches. Also, drove by another lake on the way to the lake we fished and saw several houses already out on that lake.
We fished from 4:00-6:00 pm and had a good bite on walleyes, fish from 14-22" and lost a couple of bigger fish at the hole. We were fishing 8-feet of water and our best producer was a Buck-Shot Rattle Spoon in the Glow Perch color. We hope to get out again tommorrow evening.
