View Full Version : Warrior Fishing boats
Can anyone give me some advice on the Warrior fiberglass fishing boats. My wife really likes them, so that helps as far as getting one in the driveway!! I have heard rumors they have too much wood in them and will rot out??
Just looking for some advice from those who already have them!
Thanks in advance!

I have the v193, It's the driest ride I have been in, and has the most room, That is why I got it mainly for the room with my kids also every one by me chic/In.has the glitter boats and I didn't want to be like everyone else. Have had it for 2 years now and no complaints..

all the wood is encased in fiberglass - top, bottom, & sides. Check out their website

If you are close to their factory, they will give you a tour. Very impressive. Thought I would never be wrapped in glass, but I love my 2090 backtiller. Their Pro Tiller Steering System makes handling a dream.

Here is there website,

I run a 2090 tiller as Greatplains does and love the room this rig has. There is not a big water back trolling boat as far as I'm concerned. Very comfortable to fish out of. Definately a jigging and rigging machine.
Good Luck,
PS. I may have mine for sale soon......hint, hint, hint.

Two of my fishing partners run warrior boats. I have fished in them throughout he last few years and have watched how everyday fishing abuse has taken its tole. I don't believe they have had any problems with wood rotting. I should clarify also that, the boats they have show very little ware.( meaning they held up good). I like the layout of my ranger, or I would probably have a warrior. It's a great boat.

I'm not sure if there is still a Warrior dealer in Lake City, but Great American Marine in Bloomington, Mn has several in their showroom. Awesome service as well.

Pete, I have a friend that has a 1790 DC with I believe a 125hp Merc. He really liked the boat for it's size. He just bought a 2150 Baron. He was looking for somthing bigger as the family was growing. I am sure if you wanted to talk to a person who has run one, he would be happy to answer questions for you. In fact if it is a size that you are interested in, who knows? Write back if you would like to talk to him and I will send you a phone number
