What size were the crappies running, what times were they biting and how far from Hudecs?

We weren't fishing crappies, but the ones I saw were in the 10-12 inch range, mostly a dusk bite, and they were probably a mile out on the ice, but the range was deceptive. Best bet is to call Don at Hudec's.
Ice is getting thicker all the time, but no vehicles other than 4-wheelers out there.
