Because of work and other stuff, I have missed the openner up there and the first time I will get out up there will be around Memorial day weekend. I am guessing that the only walleyes that will be near shore will be small males, so I will need to find go searching for them.
How was the openner this year? I remember last year the temps heated up so fast the spawning was over in a day or two!
