Me and my buds are heading to Kab this weedend, 6/8/02 thru 6/15/02. Anybody got a fishing report, or some helpful tips on what to catch the big eyes on, and where to catch them. I hear the lake is alot lower than this time last year. This is our third trip, coming from Indiana, and hope to hit the fishing at the right time. Any helpful hints greatly appreciated. Thank You

Fished Kebetogama for 4 days in late May. Minnows outfished leeches. Try a colored hook on a Lindy Rig. Slow and plain was the ticket when we were there. Vertigal jigging produced a few also. Tried a small spinner and a floating jig head and found few takers. Fish were moving into deeper water. Most fish taken in 20+ feet. This was our experience in the waters near Ash River Landing. Of course the fishing could be drastically changed when your there. Good luck on your trip.
