Just wondering what depth you can reach with 6 to 10 colors of 18lb leadcore.I run 3 now but would like to expand.Thanks in advance.

I've always assumed about 5' per color at around 2.5 mph. leadcore is very speed dependent however. The precision trolling book has a nice graph on leadcore depths at differnt speeds. check it out.

Leadcore is highly speed dependent as is any weighted presentation. Quoting from a graph in "The Troller's Handbook by Ray Rychnovsky for each color of leadcore you can expect the following: 0.5 mph 17', 0.8 mph 12', 1 mph 10', 1.2 mph 8', 1.5 mph 7', 1.8 mph 6', 2 mph 5.5', and 3 mph 3.5'.
