I mentioned in a previous post that I was staying at this resort south of Escanaba, Michigan and if anyone was familiar with it but the more important question is if the 2nd week after the walleye opener is as productive as the 1st since that's when I'll be there. Thanks for any responses!

In the spring durning opener most of the fishing that I have done has been in the north end of LBDN....Hookman

Thanks for the site Hookman and info. I've fished Blackbottom but am hearing that between Ford River and Portage Point is where you get the big ones. Ever tried there at all?
