Big Creek ice conditions

I was wondering if anybody has been on Big Creek and what are the ice conditions like.

I was on it yesterday, and the ice is 8" thick in the Lost Lake area just above the spillway. No one was catching any fish there yesterday, but I hear the bluegill bite was good there at first ice. I drove down to the Marina area, and there were shacks out all over the lower half of the lake. I was surprised to see some open water out from the boat dock and the marina........maybe there's a spring there? Anyway, that's all I know. Good luck.
