This week on Fishing the Midwest television we visit the Ely MN area. Local guide Jim Orcutt takes us to a couple of different lakes for walleyes, and we end the day fishing crappies on another lake. Great fishing for eating sized walleyes and some slab crappies.

The Ely area offers so much in addition to the fishing. To get a better idea of what this area is about, give them a call at 800-777-7281 or visit them on the web at ely.org

In the last segment of Fishing the Midwest this week, my nephew Sam joins me on Clear Lake in north central Iowa.

See you there.

Bob,

I live in Ames IA. What channel and at what time could i see your show?

As hard as I've tried to get on tv in Ames in recent years, I can't seem to get it done. The Des Moines/Ames market is a tough one to get into. As I understand it, there are no fishing shows on network television in that market.

However, I will try again next year.

Thanks for the interest.

How about a show with some tips and tricks on depthfinders. Show some of these on the water. Thanks.
