Any help on a good spot to go for spring Smallmouth fishing?

Central MN wins hands down for spring smallies. The following lakes offer decent size and catch rates: Green (near spicer), Koronis, Washington and Minnewaska. My all-time favorite is the Mississippi river north of St. Cloud. I guide on all of the above mentioned waters and you can't go wrong with selecting anyone of them. Good Luck! Nav

Where are you planning on fishing? I know plenty of rivers that hold many 16-22 inch Smallies that are in the Western WI.

Even though it is in Iowa spirit lake and west okoboji can be great in this time period. many fish around 17 - 21 inches caught

dave if you dont come to lake erie you will be sorry, my wife and i have several 75 fish days there and there quality fish,,,,shadowalker
