Looking to go fishing on Saturday, Feb.8th. Any reports on storm lake? I called the DNR office in Lake View and got some great reports for Black Hawk,Spirit,West&East but nothing for Storm Lake.

Storm lake has been very slow this winter. There was a very big shad hatch last year allowing the walleyes plenty of food. Unlike 2 years ago when the shad population was real low and the walleye fishing was very good. The walleyes are there its just tough right now. tracy
