On a 'typical' year can you fish upper red until late March? Is the fishing good this time of year? I haven't been up there, but this is the only time I have open to go.

Ice is getting iffy, some people are still driving on ice. Crappies are hitting a little during day, but night bite is much better. Some fish caught 15+ inches!!!:-)
