Anyone know if the ramp at the "donut" is open or the one on the hill. I know the one directly below the dam is open. How about ice around the "workmans bridge" and the spillway?

Ice is gone clear past Chamberlain. All of the boat ramps at Ft Thompson are up and running. Plenty of water in Francis Case. Fish have been scattered. 6 ft of water in American Creek marina and 2 docks. No dock in the water at the "donut" ramp at the dam, but I assume they will put it in this week, as I believe it will cost $2 to unload there starting April 1st.
Another new law this year, is that the "Dredge Hole" located between I-90, and the railroad bridge will be closed an additional month and will not open till May 1, instead of the usual April 1. Page 20 of the fishing manual states this.

Reddog,
I've been thinking about coming out to fish Francis Case this spring, but had heard the river was real low. I was out there for the PWT (in May) last year and it was low. How low is it compared to last year at that time?
Also, if I come out for a couple of days of fishing, what techniques would I want to come prepared for besides the usual jigging? Please don't say lead core, I'm not set up for it!:'(
