View Full Version : zercom lpg 2000 for ice?
Do you think the Zercom LPG 2000 would be good/OK for Ice fishing? Is cold operation OK?

a little overkill for ice?would be a good unit for it,but the battery wouldnt last too long,unless you got a deep cycle battery out of the boat to run it.

Well since I already have one,..(I'm not asking if I should go out and buy one for this purpose),..I was just wondering,...#1 Since I haven't had time to use it at all yet,so am not familiar if its good or bad,.....and #2 I haven't ice fished in years,.......but I have HOPES,..this year. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried it either on its reg function or it's flasher mode,...

the zercom would be a good unit for ice fishing.the features with it i feel would work out.i was using mine this past weekend,and i could see the downrigger ball down to20 ft.plus i marked a bunch of fish around a stump,but couldnt pick up any.
