I was wondering what crankbaits most of you can not live without? I have an assortment of Rapalas,Reef Runners, Storm lures,Bombers, but christmas is coming and my stocking is hung by the fireplace with care so I need to get some ideas what lures some of you like. Also include colors.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, moreyes

Jointed Shad Raps-in your choice of colors
Old Storm Thundersticks-Prism anything
If you'd had been on Erie for the last couple months, at least 90% (probably more like 95%) of the lures talked about on the radio have been Reef Runners, Rip Sticks or Deep Little Rippers. I would not hesitate for an instant to say that Reef Runner have accounted for more walleyes over 10 pounds than any other lure in the last couple years. I'm not trying to start anything, simply stating the facts.
Santa's little helper (Den) would be glad to help you get some for anyone's stocking (1 888 855 9032)
Scott will make a custom color for anyone for a 48 lure order, and the man can paint. While I'm shamelessly promoting, his phone # is 419 798 9125.
I sure hope Scott Golden does not mind plugging these two. They've done much for the Huron get-togethers.
Happy Holidays to all. And great fishing.

I would like a mixed bag of reef runners for deep trolling and suspending Yozuri Crystal minnows for trolling the shallow rocks. It figures I'd have to fall in love with a $8.50 lure.

Reef Runners, ORIGINAL Rapalas (prior 2001), Thundersticks and, mostly, metal billed Hot-N-Tots, .............Alas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I regress! You hadn't said "Wish List". Unfortunately, Aladdin didn't bring his lamp! Heard it was in some cave or something like that, NEVER to see the light of day ever again, along with Osama!!

Darrell, if your are listening, I'll take about a 100 PURPLE PRISM A. J.'s
Until this year I thought I had every meaningful crankbait of every color that I would ever want. At Bay de Noc this year our hottest bait was the Rattling Rougue in blue-orange. Of course, this is the one I didn't have until recently. Now I have a great selection of Rouges.
My answer is... Whatever you don't have now will be the hot bait next year. I think the fish have a deal with the tackle manufactures.

I'd have to say the new Grandma baits. The few we got a hold of went fast! Good action and TONS of colors. The little ones will be great on the trout net spring.
Oh, and Santa, please leave them in their packages. Loose hooks go into the stocking easy but getting them out is another story.

I've always been a fan of the fire tiger walley diver. I also like the shad color walley diver. Seem to run the best depths for the lakes I fish.
