Was in Iowa over the weekend visiting son at Upper Iowa U and made a stop at Volga (sp) lake southeast of West Union. Looks like a nice body of water and great access from shore for those who don't toll a boat 300+ miles. Visited with a gentleman crappie fishing from the pier and found out that he has a friend who has a cabin on the same lake that I do east of Ely. Guess the last time he was up even fish my favorite lake.
Guess that's what I like about people who fish, when you start talking you never know where it's going to lead you.
