Top Prop

I have purchased the new or was new Top Prop. I have yet to land anything with this lure. any tips of the trade for this avid fisherman. thanks alot

I'm not familiar with the Top Prop. What can you tell us about it?

The top prop was that new buzz bait that they came out with that you can stop and it floats. it is suppose to be completly versitile and go in all cover but i have had no luck with it. just little swirls thats about it. this is a hot item at cabelas

Like a Mr. Twister prop? If it is like that--- I use it where I'd use a floating jig head..Phelps Floater..or whatever. Like on my dead rod. Or rigging over a snaggy, or mossy, or mucky bottom. I use with a No-Snagg (slip sinker rigging) and a 30-60 inch leader. Some days it really works well. I use a Leech on a single hook or crawler on a two hook harness. Use a bead between the prop and the hook. It helps free things up so it can rotate easily.
