Hi All......Has anyone tried the Panhandler Fish Filletter?? It looks like a pretty neat gadget if it really works as well as they say it does. Just wondering if it was worth the money. Thanks in advance......Mike

I belive you can get them at Cabella's or BassPro. I have seen them and thought about purchasing but never taken the plunge. Gadget or Not?

I've seen them at Cabela's. If you just type in Panhandler Fish Filletter & search the net, you'll find some places that sell it & have a description of the item, but I haven't come across a website yet. I've purchased other items that make the claims but somehow come up short when I try to get the same results. I'm sure experience helps, but...... Just wondering if it is another gadget. The idea is great, but is the application the same??

Dont know what that device is, but I SWEAR by the Townsend Fish Skinner. Looks like a wide "paddle wheel" with a handle on one end. Works great to crank skin off one side of "slab", and cranks bones off other side of slab. Great on pan fish, good on medium size 'eyes, worthless on catfish. A demo helps to make it effective. I learned from a guide long ago at Okoboji.

CJ......Thanks The idea looks great, but like so many things, they look better than they are. It sounds like you've had personal experience & that's what I was looking for. I think I will save my money.
