Not a lot of ice fishing but lots of smaller lake still have ice.
Co-worker was out ice fishing on Rainy with Woody from Woody's Fairly Reliable Guide service last night. Caught few fish nothing great. They did get a 27" walleye on the Rainy river the last day of the season. Co-worker also got his fist steelhead on the Knife river on Monday. He's really not much of a co-worker since he's always out fishing.
Smelt netting on Superior has been hit and miss, few taken here and there. Need some rain and warmer weather.
Went to Virginia MN today and all the lakes along Highway 53 still had ice and most ice up to the shore.
Yeah, it's 8:45 PM and the temp is 47 with wind chill 37.
