The bite is a bit slower than we've seen for the last few weeks - your best bet is still at first and last light. Stick to 6-12 feet on your favorite rock reef with a slip bobber and a leech. The mid-day might be better spent looking for smallies or northern - both have been active. The surface temp remains at 65 degrees... expect this to drop soon!
Yes, we still have big leeches!
Water levels have dropped, so be careful around the reefs and accesses.
The weather for the weekend (as reported by Weatherunderground) looks like
this:
Friday: Cool. Partly cloudy. Breezy. Highs around 70. West winds 10 to 15 mph early in the morning becoming northwest 15 to 25 mph in the late morning and afternoon.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy. Cool. Lows around 50. North winds 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. Cool. Highs around 70. North winds around 5 mph.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows 45 to 50.
Sunday: Partly cloudy. Highs around 75.
