Has any body been there? and how I might locate and what to use?
Thanks, I'm a novice at walleye fishing.

have been there many times. walleye's are hit and miss. never had any luck with lures and always fished with live bait in order to catch anything. i have never fished anywhere else that has as many rocks as the boundry waters have. the shorelines all look the same so fishing at the right depths seem to be the key. good luck!

Boudary waters. Wow, that's a lot of water. Stayed on an island at Crane Lake last month. Walleyes and Sauger were hit and miss. Mostly miss however we had plenty to eat. The action that actually blew me away was the Crappie fishing. Caught many 1 1/2lb to 2 lb on single hook crawler spinner rig tipped with minnows. Incredible for me. I've caught buckets of Crappie in the past with an occasional monster but almost every one we caught this trip was a monster. A great time had by all too. I'll go back again for sure and give the walleye another shot. Perhaps in the spring. Good Luck. Ron
