Bad Finger its a fishing board but its also a web community, I think personally that in the General Discussion forum you should be able to post andything that isn't slanderous. Nobody is forced to view the posts and do view them because of some personal decision. I'd rather see 20 new threads that I have no interest in then people feel like they have tobite their tongue. Nothign against you or anyone else taht doesn't enjoy any other sports outside of fishing but alot of people that use this board do enjoy, watch, or even aprticipate in other sports. All I ask is that you just let everything thats well enough be, the same right you have to not want football people have to want it. Just my 2 cents. Oh if the illustrious Mr. Golden, or anyother moderators, says no more non-fishing posts I'll be more then glad to stay completely within a fishing only context.

I was going to email this to you, eyewinder, but darn, it looks like your not registered and you didn't leave an email! No fricking surprise.

I'm jonesing so bad, I was fishing in my aquarium last night with a jig/twister tail. I bent the hook off, but couldn't find any superglue to secure the tail to the jig. My fish attacked the twister tail and ran to the other side of the tank with it. I had the drag set perfectly on my ice rod/reel combo. The jig pulled out of his mouth, but the twister tail was no where to be found! I guess I'll just have to keep my eye out for a big green fish turd. Do you think fish can digest berkley power grubs?

Being registered on this board and showing an e-mail address is certainly no indication of any sort of superiority (moral or intellectual).

As I understand it, my e-mail provider is not recognized as being legitimate by those who run this board. I'm not whining, simply explaining why some of us have been more or less locked out of the registration process. I see no valid reason to change e-mail providers (or have more than one) when the one that I use has proven satisfactory.

I'm not a pot-stirrer. . .but some of us do allow ourselves to rave on a bit from time to time. . . ;-)

i was going to vote noooooooooooooooooooo but it said i already

i think that "vikes suck, no packers suck, no bears suck " is as
deep as we need to get into football. that whole BYU deal was
football board only fodder.

to prove my point i went to a college football board and ask if
anyone had an opinion on which was better a 1/16th oz jig or a
3/8th ounce jig in a noncurrent, medium depth weedy situation.
i got only one response and it was from a guy who wanted some weed.

i wasnt gonna mention it...but someone asked. i dont think its
the end of the world if we stray a little on topics but given a vote
i would vote to limit non fishin stuff here..

.but i would like to know which tv show is preferred by walleye fisherpeople..origional STAR TREK, NEXT GENERATION, DEEP SPACE NINE, VOYAGER or that awesome new ENTERPRISE show.? i will put up the voting deal if its ok.

I'm all for posting non- fishing posts. Like many above, just don't open the post and move on to others. My question is to the administrators. What about having a new category "ASK ANYTHING" like asking about tools, what people think about a brand of snowblower before you buy, and car issues. I know this is a fishing board, but you have an unbelievable amount of knowledge on this board. That it is a shame to put it to waste. So, what about a new category for non fishing stuff???? I think it will have TONS of hits!! It seams like the people above this post are game for it.
