I'm sorry I can't help you on the fishing club but I had to ask about Manson. Is it the Greater Crater Days Manson or am I out in left field?

Just responding to your post masonhunter. I do not know of what club you are inquiring about, but there is a fishing club in North Iowa. The fishing clubI am refering about is called the Clear Lake Fishing Club located in Clear Lake Iowa. This club has been around for more than 20 years. The club does projects and events on Clear Lake. We are most recognized for putting on a tournament which will have it's 17 year this year. The tournament is called the Clear Lake Walleye Classic. The club meets the third tuesday of the month in Clear Lake at Bennigans Restaurant on highway 122 at 7:00 p.m.

I'm not sure what club you are talking about, but we are in the beginning stages of a new club in the Des Moines Area called CIA-Central Iowa Anglers. It is a multi species club and you can read more about it here.

Hey I_Bob,
I am from Gilmore City but I moved to Des Moines a while back. My folks still live about 6 miles south west of town.
Maybe I should have asked if it was good or bad that you knew the name. Should I know you if I saw you? Oh yeah, is it true they shot a mountain lion/cougar over by Fonda last winter?

Mansonhusker,
Like I stated above, I am from Gilmore city. My Great Grandma still lives in Manson at the nursing home. We also used to head over their for a wrestling meet sometimes.

Your close, Ron and Millie are Grandpa and Grnadma. Paul(Ron's oldest) and Jenny are my parents. Curt actually lives on the place on C49 and Mom and Dad are a mile south. Ron and Millie have a place in Pocahontas but Grandpa is on the farm most every day, especially this time of year.
Have you got me pegged yet?
