Hi
There's still lots of room for anyone wanting to get another Mille Lacs trip in before ice-up! We're seeing a few folks here and there, but there isn't a lot of competition on any given spot. Most of the guys are either fishing muskie or perch - both are still active. The walleye action we're seeing has all been shallow, which is pretty typical for this time of year. Leeches and slip bobbers are still producing some fish, especially on the windy days. If you choose to troll, use Shad Raps or Wally Divers in 8-12 feet; Rogues, Stings, or F13 Raps in 3-7 feet.
Yes, we still have decent leeches!
The surface temp is in the high 40's

Finally...
Two antennae meet on a roof top and fall in love. One thing leads to another and before you know it, they get married... I heard the ceremony was lousy but the reception was awesome!
Have a great weekend,
